Salaate Jama'ah in one of streets of Cairo, Egypt. Salaate Jama'ah means praying in congregation (gathering). It 's followed by a congregational prayer, led by the imam. When praying in congregation, the people stand in straight parallel rows behind the chosen imam.
In Islam the praying is recomended in congregation and it's considered to have more social and spiritual benefit than praying by oneself.
