Shameless and brutal

Egyptian security forces' shameless and brutal treatment of female protesters has reached the World Wide Web as well as media outlets, sending shockwaves through the international community.
On Sunday, the troops attacked the protesters for the third consecutive day in the capital Cairo, continuing to brutalize young activists. At least 10 protesters have been killed and 441 wounded in the violence, which erupted on Thursday, when one of the several hundred peaceful protesters staging a sit-in outside the cabinet offices was detained and beaten up by the troops.
Photos and video footage posted online showed the forces' mercilessly attacking a female protester, pulling up her manteau and dragging her half-naked through the street. One riot police member -- strangely in sneakers instead of the uniform footwear -- was seen kicking her savagely in the chest.

Battlefield 3 Tehran Highway, is, as the name suggests, based around the Iranian capitol of Tehran, where US and Russian forces in Battlefield 3 battle. The game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts and was released in the US on October 25, 2011 and in the UK on October 28, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and EA Mobile confirmed a port for the iOS platform.
The campaign takes place at various locations, including near the Iran-Iraq border, and follows the story of Sergeant Blackburn and later, Dimitri Mayakovsky.

Heaviest weight lifted by a Muslim

Iranian weightlifting champion Behdad Salimi has set a new world record in the superheavyweight category of the 2011 World Weightlifting Championships in France.
The 22-year-old world athlete proved himself a modern-day Hercules after he elevated 214 kilograms in the snatch section on Sunday, Mehr News Agency reported.
He eclipsed the previous record set by Iranian icon Hossein Rezazadeh, who had snatched 213 kilograms in 2003.
Salimi, the World Weightlifting Championship and Asian Games gold medalist, was successful on his first attempt at 201 kilograms, and then lifted 209 kilograms for the second. He managed to elevate 214 kilograms overhead in his third attempt.
The Iranian weightlifting champion lifted 250 kilograms in the clean and jerk.
Salimi collected two gold medals and was crowned as undisputed weightlifting champion of the event after he elevated a total of 464 kilograms overhead.
